Liverpool Reject £58m Diaz Bid

Liverpool has turned down a £58.6 million offer from Bayern Munich for their forward Luis Diaz.

The German team made the approach earlier this month, but Liverpool made it clear that Diaz is not for sale. On Tuesday, July 15, 2025 the Premier League club rejected Bayern’s first official bid for the 28-year-old Colombian international.

Diaz is an important player in Arne Slot’s team, and Liverpool value him at more than £87 million. His contract runs until the summer of 2027. Last season, he scored 22 goals for both club and country, with 13 coming in the Premier League. He played a key role as Liverpool won the league title by 10 points.

Manchester City showed interest in Diaz last summer, and clubs in Saudi Arabia also admire him.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to sign a striker. They have a strong interest in Alexander Isak, who plays for Newcastle and represents Sweden internationally.

Reports say Liverpool have taken real steps toward a deal for Isak and are also considering other centre-forward options as they strengthen their attack.
