The second day of the Africa Entrepreneurs Alliance program was a powerful celebration, honoring dedicated entrepreneurs across Ghana for their remarkable achievements and social impact.
The Alliance’s process involved nominating these individuals, reviewing their profiles, and visiting their workplaces to conduct detailed interviews and verify their work.
The core purpose of sharing these entrepreneurs’ stories is to motivate and encourage others, ensuring they know their efforts are being recognized, and that honor or awards from the Alliance are accessible no matter their location.
Profiles in Dedication and Innovation
The honorees represented diverse industries and backgrounds, demonstrating that entrepreneurial success can bloom anywhere in Ghana.
Security and Vision: Lamar, CEO of Bouncers with Degree, was recognized for his innovative vision. This graduate leveraged his bodybuilding background to build a team of highly-demanded security professionals who now serve corporate events and functions, providing top-notch security. Their journey from the start to their current success is truly impressive.
The Hometown Success Story: The Alliance honored Madam Ohenewaa Faustina, a lady who chose to return to her hometown in the Eastern Region after facing challenges in Accra. Rather than continuing to seek “greener pastures,” she established a remarkable restaurant that is now considered one of the best in the area, serving corporates, locals, visitors, and foreigners with top-notch meals.
Social Change through Impact: Mr. Raymond, a US veteran who returned to Ghana, received acknowledgement for his significant impact through the Fafali Organization. His organization focuses on breaking the cycle of teenage pregnancy and abuse by training children in various skills, including sports, and maintaining a cultural troupe that competes both locally and internationally. Notably, one of Ghana’s best young golfers is a product of his training.
Healthcare Technology: The CEO of Tobet Group, a versatile entrepreneur with interests in real estate and innovative healthcare solutions, was recognized for his Tobet Health app. This innovative application allows users to quickly and efficiently connect with local doctors in emergency situations, ensuring timely medical assistance.

Women’s Empowerment: Isabella was acknowledged for producing affordable reusable sanitary pads, a crucial initiative helping women in need. Similarly, Ellen Whyte was recognized for her efforts in training young girls with skills and actively saving them from early marriage, making a real difference in their lives.
Professional Excellence: Awards were also given to Dr. Emefa for running one of Ghana’s best eye clinics, known for offering exceptional care. Madam Anita, owner of Anibit Preparatory School, was celebrated for turning her passion into a successful business, growing from just two students to a thriving school.
Thriving Partnerships: A married couple, running Elite Impressions for almost ten years and excelling in printing services, proved that couples can successfully thrive in entrepreneurship.
