Man City Eye £120m On Chelsea Star, Fernández

Manchester City are considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández as they look to strengthen their squad before the summer 2026 transfer window closes.

Chelsea have placed a price tag of more than £120 million on the Argentina international, with City reportedly weighing up whether to make an offer during the final two weeks of the transfer window.

Fernández has established himself as an important player at Chelsea since joining the club and remains under contract. However, interest from City could put pressure on Chelsea if the Premier League champions decide to pursue a deal.

Chelsea winger Pedro Neto is also attracting interest from several clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia. Chelsea are reportedly looking for close to £100 million for the Portugal international, who joined the club from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £54 million in 2024.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have been linked with Neto, while Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in the 26-year-old. However, no official offer has been made for the winger.

Elsewhere, Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to sign Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado. The 22-year-old Spain international has reportedly been placed on the transfer list by the Spanish club.

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has also attracted interest from Turkish club Galatasaray. Despite United’s reported reluctance to sell the Portugal midfielder, Galatasaray are said to have offered him £18.3 million per season, which would be about twice his current salary.

Liverpool continue to monitor Paris Saint-Germain forwards Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye. A combined transfer fee of about £155 million has reportedly been discussed for the two players.

At Bayern Munich, England striker Harry Kane is close to agreeing a new contract with the German champions. The 33-year-old is entering the final year of his current deal but is reportedly keen to continue his career at the club.

In Italy, Como have made an offer to sign Fiorentina and Italy forward Moise Kean on loan, with an obligation to buy. The proposed deal could be worth about £25 million.

Leeds United striker Joel Piroe has been given permission to travel to West Ham United for a medical as the clubs work towards a possible transfer.

AC Milan have also agreed a £34 million deal to sign Belgian winger Diego Moreira from Strasbourg.

Meanwhile, former England striker Jamie Vardy remains a free agent. The 39-year-old has attracted interest from Brazilian club São Paulo and West Ham, with both clubs considering a move for the experienced forward.
