Man United Boss Jose Mourinho likely to Leave

But failure for him to get another club masterminded his decision to stay at Old Trafford – He is not happy with how Manchester United refused to sign the players he wants.

Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in leaving the Premier League giants following their summer transfer failures. Mourinho is said to be frustrated by what he sees as a lack of backing from Ed Woodward that he is said to have told friends he would have walked out in protest.

According to the report by Mirror UK, the ex Chelsea boss is livid with United executive vice-chairman Woodward’s failure to land the summer transfer targets he identified.

Mourinho believes he needs more legs at Old Trafford in his third year in charge for him to be able to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title. The two players that Jose Mourinho wanted Manchester United to sign are Leicester’s Harry Maguire and Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld.

The report also added that a source explained that Jose Mourinho would have left Manchester United if he had seen any other club before the start of the new Premier League season.

Manchester United have played two games this season in the Premier League, they won their first game against Leicester City before losing the second against Brighton.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admitted that his players made mistakes against Brighton & Hove Albion which made them suffer their first defeat this season in the Premier League.

The former Chelsea handler made this known while responding to afterwards questions by reporter who asked about an apparent lack of chemistry among his players.
