Jose Mourinho has made a clear indication which sought to suggest Manchester United in the best English team in Europe, his talk is in connection to involved in this season’s Champions League.

With the pressure on after a run of disappointing results, the Special One seems to be looking for any evidence that things aren’t as bad as they seem.

The Red Devils find themselves 10th in the Premier League after a sluggish start to the season – a whopping nine points behind league leaders Man City and Liverpool.

Mourinho added in his notes before the game with Newcastle: “With such huge games coming up later in the month, it would obviously be good for our confidence to end this current run of fixtures with an important victory this afternoon at home.”

There has been speculation over Mourinho’s future – however the club have let it be known that reports he will be fired are “nonsense” .

However, a win for the Red Devils against Newcastle is seen as vital to calm the talk swirling around the Theatre of Dreams.
