Milo has tenacity to change Black Stars – Fred Pappoe

Black Stars management committee member, Fred Pappoe has defended the reappointment of Milovan Rajevac saying, it is the best decision officials of the Ghana Football Association has made for the national team.

According to Fred, Milovan Rajevac’s arrival will impact the culture of the Black Stars positively.

Speaking in an interview with Citi Sports, Pappoe believes Rajevac has the tendency to lead the team again by example like his previous successes.

“This is an opportunity to work with a coach who has done it before and worked diligently. Not just in terms of results but the way he applied himself to the job.

“His work ethic, his attitude, commitment and determination I believe are very important ingredients that the Black Stars need at this moment. That’s what excites me about his reappointment,” he said.

First Call-Up

Coach Milovan has however named his 32-man provisional squad for next month’s 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe.

He has offered Swindon Town goalkeeper Jojo Wallocott his debut call up into the Black Stars squad.
