Mob Kill Mobile Money Robber

 

A SUSPECTED MOBILE Money robber has been lynched after a failed robbery attempt, THE PUBLISHER has been informed.

The deceased, whose real identity is still unknown, was escaping on a motorbike with his accomplice after a robbery operation when the bike crashed in a pothole and the occupants fell down.

The dead robber, who was riding the motorbike, fell with his accomplice after the bike had landed in a dangerous pothole in the middle of the road.

The charged mod, who was then given the robbers a wild chase, vented their spleen on the injured rider, who lay motionless on the ground.

The other suspected robber, however, escaped death by a whisker as he managed to flee into a thick bush in the area and vanished.

The incident occurred at Ejura Menpeasem in the Ejura/Sekyedumase Municipality in the Ashanti region.

The paper was informed that the two robbers arrived in the area with a motorbike and they shot a mobile money vendor with a gun.

They then snatched a bag containing mobile phones and money from the mobile money vendor and started to escape with the motorbike.

The people at the scene mustered courage and chased the robbers, who were seen shaking as they tried to escape with the motorbike.

In the course of the wild chase, the motorbike ran into a dangerous pothole and the two robbers fell heavily in the middle of the road.

The other robber, who was seated at the rear of the motorbike, managed to escape through a thick bush within minutes after the heavy fall.

The mob, however, managed to catch the rider and life out of him using all manner of weapons, including metal objects and big stones.
