MTN ‘Stands In Worship’ Is Here Again!

Preparations are underway for this year’s MTN Stands in Worship Concert, which is touted as the biggest gospel outdoor programme on Ghana’s event calendar.

Event organisers – MTN GHANA, say, the show is expected to host thousands of customers at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair-Accra, and will attract lovers of both old and contemporary gospel music to a memorable worship experience on 2nd November, 2019, at 4pm.

The concert has in the past featured renowned gospel artistes such as Donnie McClurkin, William McDowell, Sinach, Micah Stampley, Nathaniel Bassey, Patrick Duncan, Joe Mettle, Elder Mireku amongst others.

This year’s event is being celebrated under the theme; ‘One Nation, One Voice’. Artistes billed to perform include celebrated Nigerian gospel artist, Prospa Ochimana, known for his hit song ‘Ekwueme’, as he leads an array of gospel musicians from Ghana, including Selina Boateng, Cwesi Oteng, Ceccy Twum, Joe Mettle, Elder Mireku, Akesse Breipong, Koda, and Diana Antwi Hamilton.

Since its inception 2013, it has brought together over 20,000 patrons in an unforgettable worship experience with Donnie Mcclurkin (USA), William McDowell (USA), Sinach (Nigeria), Mthunzi Namba (South Africa), Uche Agu (Nigeria) and many more International and local gospel acts.

Notable men and women of God, such as Archbishop Duncan Williams, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Rev. Christy Doe Tetteh, Rev. Agyin Asare, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, Rev. Steve Mensah, Rev. Lawrence Tetteh, and Rev. Ampiah Kofi have regularly endorsed the program and attended the event with their congregation to pray, praise and worship the Lord.
