Nana Addo digging hole of death for Ghanaians – Ofosu Ampofo

The chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has accused the New Patriotic Party(NPP) government of digging a grave of death for all Ghanaians and thus his party needs to be replaced in the December elections.

Speaking during the launch of the party’s manifesto on Monday, September 7 in Accra, he said: “We the people of this noble country, are now at this critical juncture. We cannot sink any further than we have. We are at rock-bottom. The incumbent is not only confused and exhausted, President Akufo-Addo is digging an even deeper hole which if not stopped, we will all be buried alive. I, therefore, call on all our countrymen and women and every citizen, to go to the poll in December and with one big push rescue Ghana and Ghanaians from this affliction. Enough is enough, give us your mandate and hold us to account for things that you find in this manifesto. Vote for President Mahama and let us together move Ghana in the right direction because indeed Ghana must work again”

According to him, the 2020 poll is a critical decision to salvage the receding socio-economic development of the country adding that, the NDC has done its homework well and is ready to go into a contractual relationship with Ghanaians for which all citizens stand to gain.

NDC manifesto will solve all underdevelopment problems – Asiedu Nketia

General Secretary of the party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia on his turn noted that the 2020 manifesto document will go a long way to solve the underdevelopment problem of Ghana.

“We are presenting to you a product of the people’s own thinking which we have put together polished and developed into implementable programmes. I am very confident that the age-long problem of underdevelopment for this country is going to be solved once and for all by the People’s Manifesto.

“We asked the people how they would want to see Ghana in the next four years, what country they envisage to live in in the next four years and how to build that country.”
