Receiving the keys to the pickups, the Minister, lauded the Scheme on the good works being done in promoting national development and expressed the hope that GES, who were being given the cars, will put them to good use.
“It is our desire that this donation to GES will, in turn, play a role that will lead to increased agricultural productivity in the country,” he added.
Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, Director-General of GES, expressed appreciation for the gesture and noted that the donation fed into the agricultural vision of President Akufo-Addo by encouraging schools to generate their own farm produce and even go ahead and supply the local market.
