NDC IS DESPERATE FOR POWER- Sammy Gyamfi
THE NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) is desperate for political power, according to the newly-elected Communication Director of the party.
Sammy Gyamfi, who was recently called into the Ghana Bar Association, said he would never deny that his party is hankering for power.
According to him, the country is presently being mismanaged by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, leading to severe economic hardship in the country.
He noted that the NDC is aware of the tribulations of the citizenry and is determined to win power and save the country.
“The NDC is desperate for political power because of the rapid manner at which the NPP administration is sending the country into a deep ditch with bad leadership.
“Nothing is working for the country now and it is the duty of the NDC to work and win political power so that we can save the people”, he said on Nhyira FM.
Sammy Gyamfi accused the NPP of relying on blatant lies to unseat the NDC administration in 2016, saying that the NPP had been exposed by their poor performance.
“Juicy promises like the One District One Factory, One Village One Dam, One Million Dollars per Constituency and all the other promises have not been delivered”.
He also accused the NPP government of borrowing about GH¢50 billion in less than two years, reiterating that the NDC is desperate to win power and save the people.
