No Surgery! I Went To Israel – Majid Michel Reveals

Ghanaian Actor turned Prophet, Majid Michel has reacted to reports which claimed he was jetted out of Ghana for an emergency throat surgery.

His response comes on the heels of earlier reports that he had flown out of Ghana for a throat surgery abroad. According to the reports, the actor was diagnosed with throat cancer by doctors at the 37 Military Hospital, and Korle-Bu and had to seek for treatment out of the territories of the country.

The report went on to state that Majid started experiencing difficulties with his speech because of that throat problem. He was also reported to have said that he found it really challenging to speak clearly to others on phone.

However, responding to the whole hullabaloo in setting the record straight revealed that, he had never been faced with throat cancer adding that, there was no surgery anywhere as reported earlier.

Majid spotted in Pastor Reindolph Oduro Gyebi aka Eagle Prophet’s Facebook live video stated that he rather went to Israel, Jerusalem, “the Holy land, the land of milk and honey.”

“I was in Jerusalem, the holy land, the land of milk and honey. When I went to Israel and was reading the Bible,I was in the location where the story was told. So I am reading the first miracle Jesus performed in Canaan and I am reading the verse in Canaan, where he performed the miracle.” Majid Michel said.

“I had close friends calling to ask me if it’s true I am going for surgery and— though— I was in America at the time, I didn’t go there for surgery. Some blogger decided to stir the media, probably because I have been off social media for a while.

“I wasn’t in town and a couple of people called me to say a blogger called them to ask them if I was in town or not, which they said I was out of town. So he went on my Instagram page, picked a picture of an advert I have done for Air France and added that Majid was in a hospital for surgery. Which is false, fake.” Majid added.

The Prominence of Majid in the Movie Industry cannot be downplayed as he starred in hundreds of Movies In Ghana and across the African continent before finally seeking venture in the field of Preaching. In October 2015, he was voted the most promising actor in the category of African Movies.

This was his second award after the first one in the year 2012. The award increased his fame not only in Ghana but also in other parts of the African Continent that often enjoy the genre of movies. In the award ceremony, he won over many youngsters from Nigeria which was regarded as the home of African movies after dominating the field for several years due to their amazing clique of super actors and actresses.
