The Ministry for Sports and Recreation, through the National Sports Authority (NSA), has temporarily suspended its e-ticketing platform for match ticket sales.
As a result, fans attending Ghana’s 2026 World Cup Qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium will have to buy printed tickets at the gates.
Ghana first introduced e-ticketing in 2022 for the Black Stars’ World Cup playoff against Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
However, the system has faced ongoing challenges, including verification failures and internet connectivity issues, prompting the NSA’s decision. The authority has yet to announce designated ticket sales points ahead of the match.
Ghana will host Chad on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 7 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium. Ticket prices are as follows: VVIP – GH₵200, VIP – GH₵150, Lower VIP – GH₵100, Osu Stand – GH₵20, and Popular Stand – GH₵10.
Meanwhile, the Black Stars assembled in Accra on Monday, March 17, 2025, for a four-day training camp before the match.
Two of their sessions on Monday and Tuesday was opened to the public. After facing Chad, Ghana will travel to Morocco to take on Madagascar in another Group I clash on Monday, March 24, 2025.
