Oduom lifts Mike Aidoo unity cup

It was all joy and excitement on Saturday June 11  at the Oforikrom Constituency in the Ashanti Region when Oduom Football Club emerged  overall winners of the  Mike Aidoo Oforikrom Unity football Gala.

Odum were at the finals with Aketegu but managed to lift the champions cup as well as grab the GHC10,000 cash amount.

The  Mike Aidoo Oforikrom Unity football Gala  was launched in April by entrepreneur and youth patron of Oforikrom, Micheal Kwesi Aidoo under the theme “promoting talent and unity.”

The gala had 24 football teams from various communities in the Oforikrom Constituency participating.

Aside the giant trophy for  the winning team, Mike Aidoo, provided medals and a cash prize of GHC 10,000, GHC 7,000, GHC 3,000 and GHC 2,000 will be given to the ultimate winner, Second, Third and fourth teams respectively.
