Okraku Mantey is sharing money to family and friends, go for yours – A Plus to Creative Arts Practitioners

Musician and controversial political activist Kwame Asare Obeng better known as A Plus has accused Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister, Mark Okraku Mantey, of sharing government money meant for all creative Arts practitioners to ONLY his friends and family members neglecting the many that need and deserves such support for the better wellbeing of the entire industry. 

His talks directing all Creative Arts People to the doorstep of the Ministry to seek for their share of the money he says comes after last week meeting with the Inspector General of Police he was tasked to organize. He has been blamed of neglecting many stakeholders that were needed to be present.

But A Plus argues that, the meeting is over, therefore the many stakeholders still angry he couldn’t invite them should direct their various grievances to Okraku Mantey who he says is sharing government money to just some few friends.

In a LIVE Facebook interaction with his fans monitored by thepublisheronline.com, A Plus said Okraku Mantey since his appointment into the Tourism Ministry has engaged in friends and family beneficiary duties as if he was taken there for such ungodly practices.

“What should get the creative arts people more angry is that, money is being shared at the Tourism Ministry by Okraku Mantey to his family and friends. They’ve not called me but they called Arnold, which he refused. Okraku called Arnold to come and take some of the money, because he wanted to have him in his books. Why haven’t they made it public that government has released some money to be shared for Creative Arts people? So I’ll tell Reggie Rockstone and Lil Win to focus on going for their share of the money, that’s more important.

“Their various questions were asked for them that day at the IGP meeting. They should remember no one can take their monies for them so what should make them more angry is that, they are sharing monies secretly which they don’t know. So I want to state categorically that, the Ministry having Okraku as the deputy is sharing money. The IGP meeting is over, the current situation is the money sharing silently, so they should be angry with that and go for their share. Why don’t they release statement on the money sharing, so those that qualify will come appropriately for theirs than the secret nature of doing things” he said.
