Okuraseni Samuel Chides MUSIGA

Highlife musician Okuraseni Samuel has alleged that the Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) contributed GH¢400 as its donation (Nsaabodee) at the funeral of late fellow musician Kofi Boakye Yiadom, popularly known in showbiz as Kofi B.

The final funeral rites were held in his hometown, Asante Akyem Agogo, in the Ashanti Region on November 7, 2020.

He passed away on Sunday, February 2.

A lot of the late musician’s colleagues, friends, fans, family relations and sympathizers were present to grace the occasion.

Speaking in an interview on Akoma FM, Okuraseni Samuel opined that “it is such a big shame for a whole MUSIGA to contribute just GH¢400 juxtaposed to a GH¢7,000 contribution from an owner of Jerusalem Drinking Spot in Accra”.

The singer also expressed his disappointment in the current crop of musicians who never showed up at the funeral.
