Russia 2018: England Beat Colombia To Reach Quarters

 

A night of exciting football between England Team and that of Colombia.

After 90 mins of soccer play, both teams managed to score 1:1. The side of England came from a penalty goal from captain Harry Kane. And an equalizer came from the other side during the second half.

After all this including an extra time being played, both teams couldn’t land a legal goal so needed a penalty play.

As usual, many fans watching the game expected England to lose because they almost lose on penalty play.

History makes it clear that, in 1990,1998,2004,2006 and 2012. Six major tournaments in two decades and England brimming with high hopes and big names of players but going out in the cruelest possible way.

But this a new team, full of energy young players. A young team with smiles on their faces and a spring in their step and the belief that it doesn’t always have to be the way it has been always been.
