Sammi Awuku Jabs NDC In Cote D’Ivoire

Mr. Sammi Awuku, National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has described the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as not fit to rule the country, and posited that the massive transformation that had been experienced under the NPP government, within this short time, would be eroded if the NDC ‘mistakenly’ wins power.

“The alternative (NDC) is scary so you must reject them in 2020 and other future elections in this country”, Sammi Awuku declared, whilst addressing the Ghanaian community in Abidjan on Sunday.

He opined that the party deserved a second term in power because of its sterling performance in government in the past three years.

Awuku stressed that the government still had a lot to offer to better the lives of the citizenry, and reiterated his call on Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the NPP during next year’s polls.

The NPP National Organizer was accompanied by the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia and other party stalwarts from the Bono, Ahafo, Western and Western North Regions.

According to Samira Bawumia, the NPP is the most suitable political party so steer the affairs of the state, and consequently she urged the electorates to renew the government’s mandate.

She said because the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) realised that they couldn’t compete with the NPP in terms of political ideas they (NDC) resorted to a politics of lies and propaganda to discredit the ruling party.

In this regard, she appealed to Ghanaians, especially those living abroad “not to be deceived by the propaganda of the NDC, but interrogate any negative news they read on social media platforms”.

The delegation also visited Yamoussoukro, Bouake and other cities in the northern part of Cote D’Ivoire to interact and elicit ferns from the Ghanaian community.
