Shatta Wale Introduces SM Gold Card Membership for Fanbase

Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has launched a global data collection and premium membership programme for his fanbase, the Shatta Movement (SM), introducing a new digital identification system for members.

The initiative introduces the SM Gold Card, a paid membership scheme that requires fans to register through an official online portal. The move is aimed at turning the informal fan community into a structured global database that can support business partnerships and large-scale social projects.

Announcing the launch to his followers across social media, Shatta Wale said:
“We are ready to officialise our Shatta Movement members with real identities and data. Register now by clicking the link below. Get your Gold Card membership after registration with just GHC100 to enjoy premium services around the world.”

The SM Gold Card will be available at a flat fee of GH¢100 per user, with membership offered on a limited basis. According to project details, registered members will receive official Shatta Movement status, a unique membership number, access to local fan chapters, and entry into a private digital community.

In a video explaining the vision behind the project, Shatta Wale said the goal is to build a stronger and more organised movement with real data and structure.

“What I’m telling you guys for us to build, it’s not me alone, it’s us,” Shatta Wale explained to his followers. “This whole ShattaMovementFanbase.com site that I’ve created is for us to get identified because we are going to be doing projects.”

The musician also outlined an ambitious long-term plan, saying the organised fanbase could become a financial and social force capable of driving development projects in Ghana.

He explained that funds and data collected from members could help establish private hospitals, schools, companies, and manufacturing factories. According to him, these projects would create jobs for fans and support community development across the country.

Beyond long-term plans, the SM Gold Card also offers lifestyle benefits. Members will gain access to exclusive events, free entry to selected concerts, private meet-and-greets, social gatherings, and special movie outings hosted by Shatta Wale.

He encouraged fans to embrace unity, discipline, and financial planning as part of the movement’s vision.
