Shatta’s Curse Turned Into GHS300k Reward – Tic Tac

Hip-life artiste, Nana Kweku Duah, known in showbiz as Tic Tac, has expressed joy indicating that fellow musician Shatta Wale’s curse against him back fired and he has rather been blessed with a GHS300,000.00 reward.

Tic Tac was awarded the money as compensation against Melcom Limited, for illegally using his images for promotion.

Subsequently, in an interview with Bismarck Boachie, popularly known as DJ Premier on Accra100.5FM’s Entertainment Capital on 18 November, he said Shatta Wale’s evil agenda against him has been parried.

“If you say God should punish me, I’m a child of God and, yes, he has punished me with GHS300k overnight. He said that and I think a day after, I got the judgement,” he said.

The Musician of The Year at the 2004 Ghana Music Awards who featured Nigeria’s Tony Tetuila on his ‘Fefe n’efe’ track pointed out that the Dancehall artiste is nowhere close to his level.

“It is because of something, if not Shatta cannot be compared to me because he is not anywhere near my level. I created history back in the day in Nigeria.

“You pride yourself that you have been successful but if you couldn’t even continue what I did beyond the shores of Ghana, to even Nigeria, I am the one who should be angry at you for not being able to raise Ghana music. You have tried and been unsuccessful and you should have come to seek counsel and ask what we did for Nigerians to kowtow to us, because we went to conquer them back in their yard,” he added.

He admonished Shatta Wale to always state his opinion, devoid of insolence to other musicians and Ghanaians, adding: “The disrespect is too much”.

The multiple award-winning artiste is currently on a tour promoting his new singles ‘Rashida’, ‘Carry go’ and ‘Do all’.
