Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have expressed great appreciation to the Ghana police administration, media and all others for seeing them through the unfortunate time to current day of peace between them.
According to them, the Ghana police service has been of great service to them both concerning the recent confusion that occurred between at the 20th edition edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The dancehall artists were at the centre of controversy at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards after Stonebwoy drew a gun on stage in apparent response to advances from Shatta Wale.
The two were arrested before being granted bail of GHc50,000 each after the incident.
They were also suspended indefinitely from the VGMAs and ordered to return the three awards they picked up between them on the night.
”You see, the Ghana police has been so much of help to myself and Stonebwoy. Anywhere we go, they are there and so, they are going to work hard concerning the upcoming concert between two of us to support the Entertainment Industry” Shatta Wale said when the two met the media on Tuesday to announce a peace concert dubbed ‘Ghana First.’
According to Nana Aba Anamoah who was the moderator for the peace conference, details of the concert will be announced to the general public in the coming weeks.
