The fourth edition of the She Triumph Conference 2026 has come to a powerful close, leaving behind more than inspiring conversations—it has produced tangible opportunities, empowered aspiring women entrepreneurs, and provided a platform for dreams to move from vision to reality.
Held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, the conference was convened by Lady Mrs. Deborah Borketey-Tackie, popularly known as DebbyQueen, under the inspiring theme “Her Blueprint; Her Legacy.”
The conference brought together hundreds of women, young entrepreneurs, educators, professionals, aspiring business owners, and influential personalities for a day dedicated to learning, networking, empowerment, personal development, entrepreneurship, and legacy building.
From Skills to Seed Capital: Mary Agbenorlawo Emerges Winner
One of the biggest highlights of the conference was the graduation of ten participants from Cohort Three of the Triumph Creative Women’s Hub, an initiative under the She Triumph platform and supported by the OMANYE Royal Foundation.
The Triumph Creative Women’s Hub provides women with free six-month practical skills training, mentorship, and entrepreneurial development, equipping them with skills in areas including makeup artistry, photography, videography, baking and sugar craft, and wig making.
The programme goes beyond skills acquisition. Participants are challenged to transform their skills into sustainable businesses and are given the opportunity to present their business ideas before a panel during a competitive business pitch.
At the end of this year’s pitch session, Mary Agbenorlawo emerged as the winner and received a GH₵10,000 seed fund to support the development of her entrepreneurial venture.
The award represents one of the core philosophies of the She Triumph Initiative: that empowering women must extend beyond celebrating their achievements to creating real opportunities for them to build sustainable livelihoods.
Speaking on the sidelines of the conference, Lady Deborah Borketey-Tackie explained that the initiative primarily focuses on women between the ages of 18 and 35, with the broader objective of equipping young women with practical skills and entrepreneurial opportunities while contributing to efforts to address unemployment and reduce teenage pregnancy.
“It’s six months of skill training and mentorship. After the mentorship, the ladies are supposed to pitch their business idea so that we can give them a seed fund capital,” she explained.
Women Challenged to Start, Grow and Build Legacy
The conference featured an impressive lineup of speakers who shared personal experiences, professional insights, and powerful lessons on entrepreneurship, resilience, purpose, leadership, and legacy.
Mrs. Mary Anane Awuku, Executive Director of Brain Hill International School, encouraged women not to wait until they have perfect conditions before starting their businesses.
Drawing from her own entrepreneurial journey, she urged women to begin with whatever resources they have and grow progressively.
“You start by talking to one person. You get one customer. You get two people. You get ten people. That is how the growth comes,” she said.
Her story provided a practical illustration of the power of starting small. What began in a three-bedroom house has grown into a three-campus institution serving approximately 3,000 students.
“Your Story Is Not Your Shame. It Is Your Weapon”
One of the most emotionally resonant moments of the conference came from Whitney Boakye-Mensah, Founder of My Dear Sister’s Keeper, who challenged women to reconsider how they view pain, setbacks, and difficult chapters of their lives.
She encouraged women to transform their experiences into sources of strength and purpose rather than allowing painful experiences to define or limit them.
“Legacy is not what you leave behind. Legacy is how you choose to breathe through pain while you’re still alive,” she said. “Your story is not your shame. It is your weapon.”
Her message resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing the conference’s emphasis on turning personal experiences into purpose and impact.
Dr. Joyce Aryee: “Your Work Is an Assignment”
Delivering the keynote address, Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee challenged participants to approach their careers, businesses, and professional platforms as opportunities to serve and create lasting impact.
Speaking on the theme of building a legacy that outlives you, she emphasized that meaningful legacy begins with understanding the responsibility attached to one’s work.
“To build a legacy that outlives you, you must first understand that your work is an assignment. Whether you are a corporate executive, an entrepreneur, a public servant, or a creative, your professional platform is an altar of service, the exact drafting table where your legacy begins.”
She further emphasized the importance of excellence and service, drawing inspiration from Matthew 5:16:
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Rashida Saani: Turning Passion into Purpose and Profit
Entrepreneur and speaker Rashida Saani also shared her entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the importance of passion, perseverance, and consistency in building a successful venture.
She spoke candidly about the growth of her business and the journey that has transformed her passion into a thriving enterprise, inspiring participants to recognize the possibilities that exist when talent and passion are matched with commitment and intentional action.
She Triumph Magazine Unveiled and Auctioned
Another major attraction of the conference was the unveiling and auction of She Triumph Magazine Issue 4, a special publication celebrating the stories, journeys, achievements, blueprints, and legacies of remarkable women.
The magazine captures the experiences of women who have navigated challenges, built successful careers and businesses, overcome setbacks, and continued to create impact in their various fields.
Through their stories, the publication seeks to remind every woman who picks it up that her journey matters, her experiences have value, and her story can become a source of inspiration for another woman.
The unveiling and auction added a memorable dimension to the conference while further amplifying the stories at the heart of the She Triumph movement.

A BLUEPRINT FOR THE FUTURE
As the fourth edition of the She Triumph Conference draws to a close, its message remains clear: empowering women requires more than inspiration—it requires opportunity, investment, mentorship, and the courage to create platforms where women can thrive.
From skills training and mentorship to business pitching and seed funding, the She Triumph Initiative continues to build a practical ecosystem designed to help women develop their potential and create sustainable futures.
With Mary Agbenorlawo’s GH₵10,000 seed fund serving as one of the most significant outcomes of this year’s programme, the conference demonstrated what can happen when women are not only encouraged to dream but are also given the tools and resources to pursue those dreams.
The She Triumph Initiative remains committed to empowering women through skills development, mentorship, entrepreneurship support, networking, recognition, and seed funding.
As the curtains close on the 2026 edition, one thing remains certain:
The blueprint has been drawn. The legacy is being built. And the journey continues—one woman at a time.
