Refrain from Taking Tramadol – Stonebwoy Cautions Youth

Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has advised Ghanaian youth to refrain from taking tramadol.

According to him, it is difficult to understand why some people abuse drugs such as tramadol, codeine, among others just to get high.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Monday, Stonebwoy said “Even if you abuse water you will die how much more medicine which will have an effect on you. I do stand behind the campaign that the abuse must stop…”

The abuse of Tramadol by the youth has resulted in the high crime rate recorded in some parts of the country.

Medical experts have said the drug functions like heroin and can cause psychotic problems as well as damage vital organs in the human body when abused.
Stonebwoy, in his campaign against the youth abusing the drug, also called on his colleagues in the music industry, to stop advertising such drugs through their music because music is a powerful tool that can influence people into taking drugs.

“You don’t have to do it for the hype. We are the ones destroying our lives. I beg them,” he pleaded.

The ‘Hero’ hit maker further charged his followers to desist from engaging in insults and attacks on social media.

He mentioned, he will not lead his followers to be violent but rather will direct their path to greatness, and further advised his followers to always quote facts in their arguments on social media.

He believes facts speak for themselves and will tell the world that they are level-headed people.
