Strongman Burner Drops New Tune Featuring Tinny

Strongman Burner has announced the release of a new single titled “Yaanom,” featuring veteran artist Tinny. The track, produced by Atown TSB, is scheduled to drop on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10 a.m., with a pre-save link already circulating among fans.

Strongman shared the news on Thursday morning via his official X account, writing: “Taking it back with the legend #Tinny #Yaanom tomorrow 10am.” The post included promotional artwork and a direct pre-save link, generating immediate buzz within Ghana’s music community.

Producer Atown TSB quickly confirmed the project with the reply “We drop anoda!,” while several music pages and fan accounts amplified the announcement.

The collaboration pairs two distinct generations of Ghanaian hip-hop and hiplife. Strongman, whose real name is Osei Kwaku Vincent, has built a reputation as one of the country’s sharpest lyricists. Born in 1993 and raised in Buokrom in the Ashanti Region, he first gained attention through freestyle competitions in the early 2010s.

He later graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a degree in Business Management Studies and has maintained a consistent output of hard-hitting rap records.

In recent months he has released high-profile collaborations, including “League of My Own” with Sarkodie, further solidifying his standing among contemporary Ghanaian rappers.

Tinny, frequently referred to as a legend in Ghanaian music circles, represents an earlier wave of the genre. Known for his distinctive voice, storytelling ability, and longevity, he helped shape the sound of Ghanaian hip-hop and hiplife over many years.

His catalog includes numerous influential tracks, and he remains a respected figure whose features carry cultural weight.

Strongman’s decision to describe the project as “taking it back with the legend” signals a deliberate nod to that heritage while bridging older and newer audiences.

The involvement of producer Atown TSB adds further interest. The beatmaker has worked with Strongman on previous releases and is known for crafting energetic, street-oriented instrumentals that complement the rapper’s dense wordplay.
