Manchester United are considering a summer move for Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister as several top European clubs prepare for a busy transfer window.
The 27-year-old World Cup winner could leave Anfield at the end of the season. Reports say United are exploring the possibility of bringing him to Old Trafford as they look to strengthen their midfield ahead of next season.
Manchester City are also making plans for the summer. The club would prefer to send goalkeeper James Trafford out on loan instead of selling him. The 23-year-old English keeper has attracted interest from Leeds United, Aston Villa and Newcastle United. City believe a loan move would help him gain more experience.
Nicolas Jackson is expected to return to Chelsea this summer. The 24-year-old Senegal striker is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but he has not played regularly. Because of his limited game time, Bayern are unlikely to activate the clause that would make his move permanent.
Arsenal could be busy as well. The club have been informed that Spain winger Nico Williams is open to leaving Athletic Bilbao this summer. The 23-year-old is said to be ready to consider a new challenge if the right offer arrives.
Brighton are targeting young talent Said El Mala. The 19-year-old Germany Under-21 winger currently plays for Cologne. Brighton have already submitted a written offer as they try to secure his signature.
Napoli are determined to keep Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay at the club. The 29-year-old has attracted interest from several Premier League teams. Napoli are prepared to offer him a new and improved contract to convince him to stay.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have denied reports that they contacted Jurgen Klopp’s agent about becoming their new manager.
Real Madrid are leading the race to sign German defender Nico Schlotterbeck from Borussia Dortmund. Barcelona are also interested in the 26-year-old.
United are also monitoring Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney, while Galatasaray want Inter Milan’s Hakan Calhanoglu. Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is keen to sign Julian Ryerson to strengthen his defence.
