Tennis Federation Thanks McDAN CEO for Support
President of the Ghana Tennis Federation (GTA), Isaac Boakye Duah, has expressed gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer of McDan Group of Companies, Daniel McKorley for coming to their aid and promising to pay their International Tennis Federation (ITF) fees of over $70,000.
The GTA was faced with expulsion over debts at the ITF.
Speaking on Class 91.3 FM, the GTA boss expressed his delight on the bail out.
“It is a heartwarming news that we have had because we are on the verge of being banned again for not paying our affiliation fees for the past three years,” he said.
He added: “We tried all resources but to no avail. We belong to our mother body that is the National Sports Authority and we tried severally to see if they could bail us out but it was not successful.”
