Val’s Day: Twellium Industries distributes 1500 pieces of condoms and Rush Energy Drinks to UG, UPSA students

Twellium Industrial Company stormed the University of Ghana and UPSA campuses to share over 1500 pieces of female and male condoms and other products as part of the Valentine’s day celebrations.

The decision to share condoms to the students of the the tertiary institutions is a result of the research done by Ghana Aids Commission which indicated that over One thousand and seventy two persons, made up of 636 females and 436 males in 2019, tested positive to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Tema.

Joining in the initiative included sensational actress Benedicta Gafah, Top model Edem Fairre, Nana Made in China, Dezel the model and other Ghanaians influencers.

In an exclusive interview with the Marketing Director of Twellium, Mr. Ali Ajami, said that HIV cases in the country, especially in Tema, has risen.

Mr. Ali again added that there is a need to speed – up effort to help salvage the situation. “So we thought it wise to share condoms and our products to the students and also educate them on the need of protecting themselves as they celebrate this year’s Valentine day.”
