VGMA 2020: Kofi Kinaata wins Song of the year for the third time

Singer and Rapper, Kofi Kinaata has been awarded songwriter of the year for the third time at the 2020 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. 

He won the category with “Things Fall Apart”.

Reacting to the feat achieved in a facebook post, the Takoradi star said ” First time in the history of #VGMAs! An artiste has won this Songwriter Award for the 3rd time ✌?+☝?= 3 Thanks be to God! ?? Thanks to all my fans worldwide. #TeamMooove“

Kofi Kinaata has over the years carved a niche for himself as a producer of excellent music the country and although he does not release many songs, he’s able to win the hearts of many Ghanaians with just a single song for each year.

The event which took place at the Grand Dome Arena in Accra saw awards presented to a number of artists in 13 different categories.

It also saw performances from Eno Barony, Strongman, Sista Afia, Ras Kuuku, Kelvyn Boy, Kofi Mole and many others.
