New rapper, singer and songwriter Samuel Nana Kwame Odame Ampofo with showbiz name FreQuency has finally released his new project under Mr Eazi’s #emPawa100 initiative.

FreQuency started as a freestyle artist where his videos and creativity were shared on social media for fans to appreciate his talent, which most Ghanaians easily related to his creative, word play, rhythm and style.

In November 2018, Nigerian musician and originator of “Banku Music”, Mr Eazi, announced “EMPAWA 100” initiative in search of brilliant and talented underground acts. He through “EMPAWA Africa”, was to fund music videos by talented musicians to a tune of $3000 each.

FreQuency was among-st the many talented acts across Africa who partook in the emPawaAfrica challenge across social media. His freestyle video “Social Media Gangster” was picked to join the initiative. FreQuency being super creative quickly recorded another banging song “Bills” and it’s the new song in town which is trending on Twitter as number 1.

Bills” as it is titled speaks about a young man who met a beautiful lady on social media. Upon discussing things out, they scheduled to meet for the first time and surprisingly, the lady came with 9 other friends to the restaurant they planned to hangout at….

2018 was a good year for rapper FreQuency as the amazing year brought his creativity to the front desk of most people including Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and AMG Beyond Kontrol boss Medikal.

Sarkodie in 2018 asked his fans to suggest new artist he can feature on his song “BIIBI BA” which FreQuency was part of the artist to be mentioned on twitter for Sark to put on the new banger. Later, rapper Medikal who is set to release a 6 song EP titled “#THEPLUG” announced he got FreQuency to feature on one of the songs in his EP.

Apart from “Bills”, FreQuency has released “Welcome To Ghana”, a song that talks about the daily life of a typical Ghanaian. He also recently released “Gold”, in the Gold, FreQuency stated that, his aim as a rapper is to make sure his songs are on the playlist of Jermaine Lamarr Cole, known professionally as J. Cole, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer.

FreQuency is known for his rhymes & word plays being on point and this song is another testimony to his unique talent.
