Video: ‘I owe NAM1 Gh¢700’ – Wanlov

Controversial Ghanaian musician, Wanlov Kubolo has disclosed that he owes embattled Menzgold CEO Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM 1. He said he will settle his debt to enable him settle his numerous Menzgold customers.

He made this revelation in an interview with Becky in a yet-to-be-aired show on Joy Prime.

He disclosed that he owes an amount of Gh¢700 and promised to pay his debt as soon as possible. He said ” when people were giving their monies to Menzgold, we were borrowing from them.”

Meanwhile the company’s Communications Manager Nii Amarh Amarteifio has confirmed in an interview that, Nana Appiah Mensah is still in custody despite being acquitted and discharged in a fraud charge brought against him in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to Amarteifio, his boss popularly known as NAM 1, is still in the grips of security operatives of the Gulf country at the behest of the government of Ghana.

“NAM 1 is doing very…very well and is excited for winning the case yesterday. However, NAM 1 is still in Dubai Police Interpol custody because Ghana Police have raised a red flag,” Amarteifio said in an interview on Wednesday morning.
