Wa: Fire Guts W93.5 FM

Fire has gutted the first commercial station in Wa, W93.5 FM with the studio completely razed down.

The fire is said to have started Tuesday dawn after several power outages which started from 11pm last night.

According to the security man, the technician reported for duty only to rush out with the information that the place was burning.

After several calls to the fire service which went unanswered, the security man and the technician rushed to the office of the Fire Service on a motorbike to bring them but the fire was out of control when they arrived.

Only a few equipment were salvaged from the fire.

It is, however, not known if anybody was injured in the fire outbreak.
