Women Empowerment: Samira Lauds FC

Mrs Samira Bawumia has encouraged women to build their capacity to take up high positions at work places.

The wife of the Vice President said this On Thursday, 26 April 2018, when she joined the Forestry Commission Ladies Association (FCLA) as they marked their 5th anniversary.

The anniversary was marked on the theme: “Empowering the Forestry Commission Woman; Five Years of FCLA”.

It was a celebration of the commitment and strides made by women within the organisation.

She commended the current leadership of the Forestry Commission (FC) for prioritising women’s growth and development.
