Wontumi’s B’day Wish: I Want Bawumia To Be President In 2028

BERNARD ANTWI Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, says his wish is to see Dr. Bawumia become president in 2028.

According to him, Dr. Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, has the qualities to lead the country from its mirage of challenges to the Promised Land as the president.

In this regard, Wontumi, who is very outspoken, has appealed passionately to the citizenry to support Dr. Bawumia with prayers so he will win the 2028 polls.

Marking his 50th birthday with a mammoth church service at Christ the King Catholic Church at Ahensan, he said his wish is to see Dr. Bawumia as president.

“I’m appealing to you to continue to support Dr. Bawumia with fervent prayers so that he will lead our great political party to win the 2028 general elections.

“My greatest wish as I mark my 50th birthday, is to see Dr. Bawumia as the president of this country in 2028”, he told the congregation, attracting wild applause.

Without mincing words, the Ashanti Regional NPP chairman stated that Dr. Bawumia has the wherewithal to lead the country into affluence as the president.

Wontumi was joined at the church service by Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka Napo, the NPP Vice Presidential Candidate for the 2024 general election.

Other party gurus such as Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye aka ‘Nana B’, Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) and others were also there to make the event grand.

Wontumi thanked the people, especially Napo, for making time to come to the church to his birthday celebrations, saying that he was very impressed.
