Zylofon Arts Fund Launches Online Cinema Platform

Zylofon Arts Fund (ZAF), in a quest to assist movie producers monetize their work, has launched an online cinema platform.

The initiative, Zylofon View, was launched on Friday, September 7, at the Zylofon Media Headquarters in Accra.

Speaking at the launch, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of ZAF, Frank Kwabena Owusu explained “Zylofon View is an online and mobile application that allows you to watch the latest movies anytime and anywhere.”

The online platform, according to him, would not only help film producers but also showcase Ghana’s acting talents around the world to build their profile and attract more international collaborations.

He said the platform is a pay per view App where interested viewers would be required to make payment via VisaCard, MasterCard, Stripe, PayPal and MTN Mobile Money.

The initiative is part of the $1 million funds provided by Nana Appiah Mensah to support the arts.

It comes after Zylofon Arts Fund provided funds to some creative arts people to produce their works earlier his year.

Mr. Frank Owusu urged all film producers who have current movies which are commercially viable but have not been placed online yet to submit their work to ZAF for scrutiny and uploads onto the platform after the launch.

The launch was attended by stakeholders in the movie industry, executives at ZAF, and movie lovers.

Movie lovers can now visit Zylofonview.com to view top class movies for their ecstasy.
