Afcon 2019: Laryea Kingston lands SuperSports Job

Ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, former Ghana international Laryea Kingston will work as a pundit African broadcast giant SuperSports.

The ex-Hearts of Mithlodian winger is expected to provide expert analysis and predictions for the African leading pay TV channel throughout the tournament.

His contract with the South African-based TV Channel starts from 21st June 2019 and ends on 19 July 2019.

”I am very happy to join the team at SuperSport as a pundit for the AFCON. I am looking forward to attending the tournament in Egypt come next month and share my insights into the games,” an elated Laryea Kingston told SportsworldGhana.com via phone.

Meanwhile Head coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to announce his provisional squad next week.

The Black Stars will be heading for the UAE on June 1 where they will hold a comprehensive three-week camping before making a short trip into Egypt for the Afcon.

Ghana, who will be seeking to end a 37-year wait for a Nations Cup trophy, are in Group F where they are billed to face defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
