Akpaloo shows Mahama Red Card
THE BANKROLLER and leader of Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has ruled out the possibility of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, ex-President John Dramani Mahama, winning the 2020 polls.
Sounding like a prophet of doom, the outspoken politician said the NDC flagbearer mismanaged the affairs of the state when he was in political office and predicted that the electorate would never vote for him again.
“Who will vote for Mr. Mahama to lead this country into abyss again?”, Akpaloo asked on Kessben FM, stressing that Mr. Mahama is a spent-force in Ghana politics.
He noted: “Apart from the staunch NDC members who will vote for him, floating voters, who determine the winner of elections in Ghana, would reject Mahama”.
Akpaloo observed that Mahama made a mess out of himself when he was given the rare chance to lead the country as president so he would never become president again.
He alleged that the NDC candidate is responsible for all the economic hardships and troubles that the country has been facing in recent times.
“Mr. Mahama’s bad leadership style has caused the crisis in the banking sector and I salute President Akufo-Addo for taking bold steps to reform the banking sector”, he concluded.
