Akwasi Appiah Advices Aduana

BLACK STARS Head Coach, Akwasi Appiah, has admonished Ghana champions, Aduana Stars, not to relax after scoring a goal during their games.

According to him, if Aduana Stars want to go far in the Africa Champions League, then they should not pull their leg from the accelerator after scoring.

He was speaking to newsmen after the club, who were playing at home, beat Al Tahadi of Libya 2-0 at Dormaa Ahenkro on Wednesday.

The important victory has given Aduana the smooth passage to the next stage of the Africa Champions League competition.

Akwasi Appiah, who watched the game at Dormaa, congratulated the Stars for winning the crunch contest to make Ghanaians proud.

However, he said he was not impressed with the way the players relaxed after scoring the two goals during the second half.

He urged that players that, going forward, they should pile more pressure and put their opponents on the ropes even after taking the lead.
