Arsenal battle 5 Teams for Porto’s Ace Hector Herrera

Premier League side Arsenal have joined the race to sign Porto midfielder Hector Herrera who is also on the radar of Real Madrid and other top clubs across Europe.

According to a UK Mirror report citing various sources, the Mexican international contract at the Estadio Dragao ends in the summer of 2018/19 campaign.

At the moment, the 28-year-old claims Herrera held talks with new Los Blancos boss, Julen Lopetegui in just-concluded international break.

Interestingly, the 28-year-old had a working relation when the Spaniard spent two years as Porto manager, and Herrera is reportedly set to join the big spenders soon.

However, the duo of Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are equally keeping vigil, even as Arsenal and Roma have also being linked with the highly-talented midfielder.

Italian news channel, Corriere dello Sport suggests that the clubs, who are eyeing Herrera, are likely to move for him in the winter window ahead of a potential Bosman switch, before the 2019-2020 campaign.

Interestingly, there are claims that Herrera can still leave Porto for a lesser fee in January, provided the Portuguese giants Audi Enniskillen reach a deal with the potential suitor.

Meanwhile, eagleee.com previously had reported that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is not happy his former employer Zinedine Zidane wants to manage Manchester United, Express quoting El Confidencial.

Zidane resigned as Los Blancos manager barely a week after winning his third consecutive Champions League title.

The 46-year-old revealed he needed to take some time off because he was exhausted despite Perez’s wishes that he stay on. our daily
