Benjamin Asare Leads Ghana Premier League Clean Sheets Chart

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is leading the race for the most clean sheets in the Ghana Premier League after six matchdays of the 2026/27 season.

The experienced goalkeeper has kept four clean sheets in five appearances, conceding just one goal in the league so far. His impressive performances have played a key role in strengthening Hearts’ defence during the opening weeks of the campaign.

The Phobians have recorded four clean sheets in their first six matches, highlighting their strong defensive performance this season.

Hearts moved into second place on the league table after securing a 1-0 victory over Port City FC on matchday six, with Asare’s contribution proving important to the team’s early-season progress.

Bechem United goalkeeper Benjamin Kwesi Asiedu and Swedru All Blacks shot-stopper Michael Appiah are next on the clean sheets chart, with three each after six league matches.

Asiedu has conceded four goals in six appearances for Bechem United, while Appiah has allowed three goals in six matches for Swedru All Blacks.

Appiah’s record includes Swedru All Blacks’ 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko, where a late penalty converted by Eric Darkwah secured all three points for the newly promoted side.

The victory marked an important result for Swedru All Blacks as they continue their campaign in the top flight.

Meanwhile, FC Samartex goalkeeper Musah Zakari and Aduana FC’s Osei Prince have each recorded two clean sheets after six matches.

Zakari has conceded four goals for Samartex, while Osei Prince has also allowed four goals in his six appearances for Aduana FC.
