Government has called for the immediate dissolution of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) due to the recent alleged fraud documented in the Anas’ Number 12 Expose.
In a statement signed by Information Minister, Mustapha Hamid, government is perturbed by the contents of the documentary and has such taken measures to deal with the rot.
All officials who were involved in questionable acts in the video have been reported to the police.
“Government will communicate these decisions to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), and engage with them on these developments to chart a way forward for Ghana football,” the statement read.
Government seeks to reed the football administration of all corruption.
