Premier League giants, Chelsea, have reportedly told Spanish club Real Madrid that they are not ready to do business with them on the transfer of Belgium international Eden Hazard.
Hazard has been a transfer target for Real Madrid since last season, and Los Blancos’ chiefs added more interest to sign him following his superb performances at the 2018 World Cup.
They are said to be ready to offer the Stamford Bridge club massive sum of £170 million for them to lure Hazard to Spain, and according to UK Mirror, the Blues are not interested.
The Belgium national team captain still has two more years on his contract deal at Chelsea.
“He’s one of the top European players. I hope I can improve him but this will be difficult because he has reached a very high level.” Chelsea new coach Maurizio Sarri said according to Mirror UK.
The 27-year-old winger has been a long term target for Real Madrid, and Los Blancos chiefs are still ready to tempt Chelsea with big money for the possibility of signing Hazard.
Hazard is also said to be considering the chance of playing in the 2018/19 Champions League as another reason he would join Real Madrid.
