Davido Gifts $5,000 to Ghanaian TikToker

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has promised to gift $5,000 to Ghanaian TikToker, Ananzo Official, after he made a TikTok video singing one of Davido’s songs.

Ananzo Official, who works at a washing bay in Takoradi, Western Ghana, became an online sensation with videos of him joyfully singing songs by Black Sherif and Davido.

Born Eugene Ananzo Junior, the young Ghanaian captured the hearts of many as his lively performances at his workplace went viral on social media.

Following his growing popularity, Ananzo Official shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), where he sang Davido’s latest track with Omah Lay, “With You,” and tagged both artists.

“Happiness is free @davidox, @omarlay, @OfficialBigkay, @jerirussells, @nanasuccess66, @appiah_renee,” he tweeted.

The ‘Unavailable’ hitmaker reposted the video on his social media accounts; Instagram and TikTok.

On TikTok, Ananzo Official’s video is number 1 in terms of the usage of the new song by Davido and Omah Lay.

In a comment section on the said video on Instagram, Davido wrote: “5K US for you OLS contact @deekay_dmw”. His kind gesture has since been admired by many, showering the Grammy nominee with gracious remarks.

Internet users have since trooped the comment section of his post with congratulatory messages, expressing appreciation to Davido for his kind gesture.
