Don’t Push Me – Oteele’s Wife Warns of More Leaks

Gifty Nana Afriyie, wife of Kumawood actor Oteele, has broken her silence over the viral intimate video allegedly involving the actor, strongly denying claims that she was behind its release and accusing her husband of having relationships with other women.

In a video shared on X on August 15, 2026, Gifty expressed anger and frustration over the controversy, particularly claims from some social media users and the actor himself that she may have played a role in the release of the video.

She warned Oteele against making further accusations, saying she had evidence about matters concerning their marriage that she could reveal if pushed.

“You connived with whoever posted the video and even got added to their Telegram channel. Yet you sit somewhere and accuse me of being behind it. I don’t want to curse you. You know I have a lot of evidence, and if I decide to reveal certain secrets about you, I will. So don’t push me. Cease fire because you know me,” she said.

Gifty also accused Oteele of allegedly having romantic relationships with several women outside their marriage.

She claimed that the actor had saved the contact of one of the women under the name “Coconut Tree” and mentioned other names in her allegations.

“When your family rejected you, and I was taking care of you during your health challenges, where were Coconut Tree, Spendylove and Amanda? Even when your phone rings and I bring it to you, you become uncomfortable,” she alleged.

She further warned the actor against provoking her, claiming that she had evidence that could reveal more about his private life.

“Don’t bring yourself, and don’t push me because the next thing that will leak may come with chats. Because of you, I had to sack all my apprentices because you always wanted to have relationships with them,” she stated.

The actor’s wife also alleged that Oteele had been upset with her since the intimate video began circulating.

She claimed that the actor did not speak to her before appearing publicly to apologise to Ghanaians over the controversy.

“Before you came on live television yesterday to apologise to Ghanaians, you didn’t even speak to me. Yet you are angry with me over something you did yourself,” she added.

Her comments come two days after Oteele publicly addressed the controversy during a TikTok live session on August 13.

The popular Kumasi-based comic actor described the situation as painful and embarrassing and said the public backlash had taken a toll on him.

He said he had struggled to eat and had been forced to console himself as insults and criticism continued to spread online.

“If I don’t console myself, I will die. For someone like me who loves food, I can’t even eat. It is not easy. If insults could kill, I would have died by now. Some people are happy, while others are sad but through all this, I have seen my enemies,” he said.

Oteele said the controversy had also helped him identify people who genuinely cared about him and those who did not.

He appealed to the public to remember that nobody is perfect and said those judging him should also be mindful of their own actions.

“No one is perfect. Today it is me; tomorrow it could be you. What benefit do you gain by going live to insult me? Everyone is free to judge me but those judging me should also make sure they do not sin.

“What I need right now is to find people who will go with me to apologise to my wife,” he stated.

The actor said he was seeking the support of respected individuals to accompany him as he apologised to his wife.
