Dear Nana Yaa Jantuah,
You are hands down Ghana’s favourite mother with sharp teeth. From afar, I have always ‘admired’ your brazenness at spewing unpalatable commentary about your political opponents.
So watching your lamentations on Asempayesterday afternoon I could only laugh out loud. You said you petitioned God to deal with the Minority Leader, Afenyo Markin for calling you a nobody.
That was too funny! Really? So you knew God all these years? And you could say the most uncharitable things about your political opponents?
In January 2025, you likened Akufo-Addo to King Nebuchadnezzar and ranted: “He is an error, a mistake. Something that has been bestowed upon us, he has brought darkness to this nation,”
You did not know God then?
Beyond that you, Madam Nobody, called President Akufo-Addo a liar, asked for Parliament to impeach him and used vile rhetoric in reference to him on innumerable occasions.
You did not petition God then?
On the Asempa show, you added also that beyond politics you were an accomplished woman. Are you more accomplished than Akufo-Addo who bore the brunt of your insults?
And then you emphasised that you were older than Afenyo Markins and you were not his classmate. Interesting! Madam Nobody, are you the same age as Akufo-Addo? Is he your classmate?
Listening to you on Asempa yesterday was a laughable experience. You can dish out freely but cannot stomach being “dished” at. Moborr!
Earlier in January of this year, on the same Asempa afternoon show you went into the gutter about Ken Ofori-Atta after ICE had arrested and detained him saying:
“So what is so special about Ken? Is he the only ‘Dada ba?’
Is Ken above every human being in this country?….If the bail conditions are high, is it a crime if he is jailed for one month? Will he die? We have all been jailed and we didn’t die…He went to the Mayo hospital for them to forge letters for him on his medical condition.”
Madam Nobody, you assumed the role of a medical expert and declared a man with prostate cancer had faked such a grave illness. At that time was the petition to God window closed? You didn’t know God then?
The Minority Leader called you out yesterday as a nobody in the general scheme of the hierarchy of the Executive and the lamentations on Asempa were to prove that you are a Somebody?
Boi. Madam Nobody, abeg rest! And then read Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31. Madam Nobody, in essence, do unto others what you would like others to do unto you. On a more serious note, sorry wai. Kafra.
However, take note. The good people of Ghana don’t care about ranks and titles at the Presidency. All they care about is that this democracy works, that they can achieve their full potential and that they can live comfortably and in peace.
Yesterday, you claimed you have the ears of the President. Please remind him about the unemployed teachers and nurses, the unpaid cocoa farmers, the skyrocketing fuel prices, the high cost of living etc etc. Thank you.
Bye for now, Madam Nobody. Enjoy the weekend!
