The Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) will sponsor at least 500 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to participate in the Ghana Export and SME Fair (GEXPO), scheduled for November 18 to 22, at the Black Star Square in Accra.
Chief Executive Officer of GEPA, Francis Kojo Kwarteng Arthur, announced the initiative during the launch of the Accra Trade House and Friday Market in Accra.
“From the 18th of November to 22nd of November, 2026, the Ghana Export Promotion Authority will sponsor at least 500 SMEs to participate in the Ghana Export and SME Fair (GEXPO) at the Black Star Square,” Mr Arthur said.
The fair, which is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, will provide a platform for SMEs across various sectors to showcase their products and services.
The event follows the Ghana Investment Forum, scheduled for November 16 and 17, 2026, and is expected to create opportunities for businesses to engage potential buyers, establish commercial partnerships and explore new markets.
Mr Arthur urged SMEs to prepare for the fair and take advantage of the opportunity to promote their products and strengthen their business prospects.
The sponsorship initiative forms part of GEPA’s broader efforts to support Ghanaian enterprises to develop export-ready products, access international markets and increase the country’s non-traditional export earnings.
