Ghana Cedis exchange rate update

The latest Interbank forex rates released by the Bank of Ghana on March 4, 2024, reveal the current exchange rates for the Ghana Cedi against major international currencies.

Against the US Dollar, the Cedi is valued at a buying price of 12.4938 and a selling price of 12.5063. However, at a Forex bureau in Accra, the Dollar is being bought at a slightly higher rate of 12.80 and sold at 13.10.

Moving to the Pound Sterling, the Cedi is trading at a buying price of 15.7646 and a selling price of 15.7816. Meanwhile, at a Forex Bureau in Accra, the Pound Sterling commands a buying rate of 15.80 and a selling rate of 16.40.

For the Euro, the Cedi is valued at a buying price of 13.5168 and a selling price of 13.5291. At another Forex Bureau in Accra, the Euro is being bought at 13.70 and sold at 14.20.

When it comes to the South African Rand, the Cedi stands at a buying price of 0.6528 and a selling price of 0.6530, while at a Forex bureau in Accra, it is bought at a rate of 0.40 and sold at 1.10.

The Nigerian Naira is trading at a buying price of 126.8712 and a selling price of 127.4592. However, at a different forex bureau in Accra, the Naira is exchanged at a rate of 6.00 Naira to 1 Cedi for buying and 13.00 Naira to 1 Cedi for selling.

Lastly, the CFA Franc is valued at a buying price of 48.4849 and a selling price of 48.5290 against the Cedi. At a Forex bureau in Accra, the CFA is bought at 19.00 CFA for every 1 Cedi and sold at 21.50 CFA for every 1 Cedi.

These rates demonstrate the current fluctuations in the foreign exchange market, influencing trade and financial transactions for businesses and individuals dealing with international currencies in Ghana.
