Renowned actor Adjetey Anang and Actress Lydia Forson has won the Best Actor in a Drama Series award at the 2018 edition of Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards in Nigeria.
The event, which was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria on Saturday, September 1, saw the actress emerge as the Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie Isoken, same as Adjetey Anang winning at his end.
Lydia Forson and Adjetey has been in the movie industry for quite sometime now,paid their dues well and has been consistent with their movie career which has earn them many awards to their credit.
The award, however, comes at a time majority of Ghanaian filmmakers are complaining that the industry is on the fall of collapse. The win, therefore, is expected to be the beacon of hope for Ghana’s film industry.
Adjetey won the award for his performance in the Peter Sedufia directed film, ‘Keteke’, and the award comes with a cash prize, information available to thepublisheronline.com indicates.
