Mall for Asokore Mampong

AN ULTRA modern Mall Complex is currently under construction at Asokore Mampong, the capital of Asokore Mampong Municipality in the Ashanti region.

The huge project, which is currently nearing completion, is being constructed by the Asokore Mampong Traditional Council to boost businesses.

Making the announcement, Nana Boakye Ansah Debrah, the Asokore Mamponghene, said: “The two-storey mall complex is coming at the right time as it would help business activities in the community to progress”, he indicated.

Nana Debrah, who was speaking during the opening of Asokore Mampong Rural Bank, stressed on the need for more commercial activities in the area, and hinted of plans in the pipeline to introduce Sunday Market at Asokore Mampong community in the coming days.

“On that day, we shall close the roads and traders would be allowed to sell their goods in the streets for them to get more money”, the chief said, amidst thunderous applause from the audience.
