Nana Agyemang Badu II Promises Aduana Stars Coach a Car

Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II, the Paramount Chief of Dormaa Traditional Area, has promised to reward coach Yusif Abubakar of Aduana Stars, a car, if he qualifies the team to the money zone in the CAF Champions League.

He extolled the efforts, contribution and achievements of the coach in winning the 2016/17 premiership title , G6 Trophy (2017), and more recently the Supercup (2018) describing it as unprecedented in the history of coaches, who have handled the team and an achievement he was very proud of.

“I’m called Osagyefo by the people of Dormaa, I wish to confer same title on you for the honour you have brought to Dormaaman,” he stated.

Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II made this known when the management, technical staff, and playing body of Aduana Stars called on him and his subchiefs to present the Supercup Trophy won last Sunday by the team at Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi, when they defeated Kumasi Asante Kotoko by a lone goal.

The Chief said he and nananom would do anything in their capacity to put the team ahead and ensure its success and challenged management, technical staff and playing body to do their part particularly while they prepare to launch their CAF Champions campaign.

“The real task lies ahead of us is to qualify to the money zone, this would be a no mean achievement for the club to earn the $250,000.00 price money at stake. I can give you $200,000.00 of the money and take $50,000.00. I like it”, he added.

The Chief gave the assurance that he would purchase for each player of the team a plot of land to be bought at their native home if they advance to the money zone.

He promised to add 200 bags of cement to motivate and encourage the players to build and own their houses, “the idea is to let every Aduana player to own his house after being with the club for three years”.

Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyemang Badu II urged them to shelve or suspend all grievances and complaints bothering on their welfare such as accommodation challenges and the payment of enticement fee due some of the players and focus on the task that lies ahead for the team as they begin their CAF Champions campaign.

“I have it in mind to address all these grievances and asked for unity among the players”, he added.

He gave an undisclosed sum of money to the players and technical staff for their successes in winning the Supercup.
