Nickseth Boss fires up young entrepreneurs

NICHOLAS FRIMPONG-Boateng, the Managing Director (MD) of Nickseth Construction Company Ltd, has urged young businessmen to develop what her termed as “I can do spirit” so they can succeed in their field of work.

According to him, starting a new business or project sometimes is not that smooth and easy for the individual, but with prayers, determination, hard work and seriousness, success would eventually be achieved.

He made this known during the grand opening of Nickseth Construction Company Limited’s operational yard at Appolonia, Accra. It is to serve their clients in the southern sector of the country.

Using himself as a case study, Frimpong-Boateng said Nickseth Construction Company Ltd, which is now a household name in the construction sector in the country, started in a modest way about 16 years ago in Kumasi.

According to him, even though his company encountered some challenges in the initial stages, he did not give up as he continued to work hard, which has now contributed to Nickseth Construction Company Ltd’s current giant state.

“Nickseth Construction Company Ltd, which is commissioning its Southern Sector Operational Yard today, has been in existence for sixteen (16) years. The Company, which began business on a very low key, faced a lot of difficulties.

“In spite of the company’s initial challenges, it is now one of the construction giants in the country”, Frimpong-Boateng pointed out, urging young entrepreneurs to let his case motivate them to go higher in their field of work.

According to him, his company would continue to provide an improvement in service quality in return for their customers’ loyalty and faith in his company, calling on all-and-sundry to do business with Nickseth Construction.

“We believe in the industry and enterprise of the good people of Greater Accra Region and based on this conviction we promise that we are here to stay”, Frimpong-Boateng indicated.

He said “We wish to extend a hand of friendship to all economically active people of Greater Accra to have faith in our company and do business with us. This facility was specifically created for you and we enjoin you from now onwards to resolve to make it the company of your choice.

“Our doors are wide opened and our well-motivated staff are ready, more than ever, to do business with you. Therefore, everybody must come on board.
For us, we promise nothing but exciting service and a delightful experience”.

Appolonia Facility

The Kumasi-based construction company located its facility in Appolonia City’s light industrial park for control over materials used for construction works and expansion of its furniture and steel fabrication business.

“We are excited to begin operations in Appolonia Industrial Park, which allows us to serve clients in Appolonia City, Greater Accra and beyond,” said Nicholas Frimpong Boateng.

“Our facility has two production lines; each of which can produce 16,800 six-inch blocks every eight hours, or more than 33,000 per shift. We are producing curbs, mouldings and all types of pavement bricks and blocks”, he added.

Nickseth Construction’s facility has three warehouses, a service room, common rooms, offices, multi-purpose rooms, an administration block, a canteen and kitchen yard.

“The launch of this modern facility is a great step towards realizing the vision of a world-class light industrial park within a planned mixed-use city,” said Bright Owusu-Amofah, CEO of Appolonia City.

Appolonia City is home to more than 5 businesses, including MainOne’s $5 million data centre that delivers high-speed fibre optic infrastructure to Appolonia City and Greater Accra. Earlier this month, Adumuah Place, a Grade A office and retail complex, was launched with C & J Medicare and Duka Supermarket as tenants.
